When God created men and women, He created them equally and fairly. He did not say anything about which among the two sexes is superior. Men thought they were superior because according to some of them, they should be superior because God created man first. Women, on the other hand, consider themselves superior because during the ancient times, women rule on almost everything. They were leaders in tribes and communities.
Nowadays, the conflict between men and women is no longer about who among them is superior but it is now all about their differences. Relationships in present days do not last long because of certain misunderstandings. Unlike before, men are those who are the considerate ones. They always give way for their partners. They even have to swallow their pride just to save their relationship. They do everything their partner wants them to do. Women, on the other hand, are those who are the typical hard-to-get type. They are those who are fun to test the guys' determination in having a relationship with her.
In the present days, there are no longer men and women who have those characteristics mentioned. Present relationships do not last that long because of the awareness and consciousness of each other's differences.
The present problem with men is that they are weak when they are in love. They do not know how to handle relationships that much but it is only for some especially for teenagers. Some are also too irresponsible that they do not know how to take things seriously and that they do not know how to give importance to the word, PRIORITY. There are also some who enter relationships just simply for fun. There are also some who take relationships for granted as if it is just for pure entertainment and leisure.(sorry guys!ha ha!).
The present problem with women is that they are so possessive(agree?!?). There are some who are so serious when it comes to handling relationships as if they are really sure that they will marry their present partner is really the right one for them. They give much time for their partners but not that much time for themselves. Women who are so much in love with their partners would just end up broken. And these cases are very common among teenagers nowadays.
There are also some similarities that men and women have when it comes to dealing with problems with relationships. One is that, they both do not know how to understand one another. And that one seems to be selfish when loving someone.
By mere misunderstanding, love moves in mysterious ways.

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND
"Most people walk in and out of your life, but only friends leave footprints in your heart."
I really love this quotation. It is simply because I have friends that are really close to my heart and that they really are one of the things that I treasure most. Having them in my life makes my life more colorful and meaningful.
ONLY friends leave footprints in our hearts. Why? It is because they are the only people in our lives that we can cry with. They are those people you can talk to whenever you feel down and lonely. They are those you can really trust. They are those will never leave you even when you are in your saddest. They are those people who you spend almost all of your time with. They are those whom you run to whenever you got problems. They are those whom you share your ups and downs with. They are those whom you share almost all of your happy moments with. They are those people you consider close to your heart next to God and your family.
Walking with different people, with different personalities for about four years now, is a very fun and memorable experience for our batch. Honestly speaking, we really do not know where our feet would take us but one thing's for sure, we are really enjoying the walk. In each year that pass by, each one of us has his or her own changes may it be physically or may it be his or her personality. Even I, myself, can not imagine these changes in me for the past few years.
Walking with them somehow molded me. I am the at my best right now because of these guys. I never expected to be this close-to-perfect being because I never thought that I would learn this much to improve almost everything about me.
I just want to grab this oppurtunity to thank all of you guys. You really left footprints in my heart. It will never, ever fade! That is a promise!

THE GREATEST DEPRESSION EVER....
The University of the Philippines held its college admission test last Agust 2006. About thousands of students from different schools in the country took the exam. Ofcourse,we, the fourth year students of the Uiversity of the Pilippines Hgh Shool also took the exam. There are about 64 of us who took the exam. I was really excited when I took the test but I know that I was not that prepared. And because of that, I was not able to pass the admission test. I was really depressed when I knew that I did not make it. Tere are a lot of things on my mind at that instant. I was afraid that my mom will get mad at me if i'll tell her i did not pass. And also,I was really mad at myself because I did not took the test seriously and that I know my mom will not be happy if she finds out that I was not able to pass the exam.(ofcourse!). When I told my family that I was not able to pass the admission test, tears started to fall from my eyes. I was taken aback when they told me that it was fine and that there are still big oppurtunities that will come my way. I never thought they were that supportive of me. Tears of depression now turned to tears of joy. I was so happy when I heard those words. I never expected them to say those kinds of words. They were never that vocal. I was very happy that these things happened because I really learned a lot. I will never, ever forget this once-in-a lifetime feeling. Ever!
