Last March 9, 2007 was probably the worst day of IV-Tan. Why? It is because there were plenty of misfortunes that happened during that day. Maybe because all of us were very busy with our deadlines.
During our Civil Welfare Training Service or CWTS, we had some marching exercises for a special program for the retirees. We never expected that we will experience something we never experienced before, to be "tortured" by a batchmate who seemed to be an officer. We never expected that there were people that fainted during that exercise. Imagine, he gave us 36 bombers because some were late when he asked for a "humanay". He was really inconsiderate! He did not hesitate to punish us even though he knew that there were plenty of girls who had their period that time.He was really harsh! It was him against the whole batch. During that afternoon, after the CWTS, we had a open forum about that incident. All of the students of IV-Tan were asked to get inside the room. We gave him the chance to reason out what he really was thinking during that time when he gave us that punishment.
Well, he does not deserve to be called one because being a leader does not only mean that you will make your members follow everything you ask them to but also consider their limitations. You must also be aware of the things they are not capable of doing. Since, these have not been seen inside this officer, probably, you should not be considered a leader.
Always remember that we do not demand for respect, but we will earn this by learning to respect ourselves and others.
